Frequently Asked Questions

Can you Guarantee Who Comes Through?

Nope. And anyone who guarantees that should probably make you raise an eyebrow.

I don't get to hand Spirit a guest list and tell them who has a reservation. You can probably come hoping to hear from someone specific, and they may come through, but I can't promise it. My job is to tell you what I'm receiving, not force a connection or make something fit because it's what either of us hoped would happen.

Can I ask for someone specific?

Absolutely! You can tell me there's someone you'd really like to hear from. Just know that asking and guaranteeing are two very different things. Spirit has never once handed me the managerial position. Apparently, I'm just the staff. 😂

Can you predict the future?

I can receive intuitive information about possibilities, patterns, people, and situations, but I don't believe your future is a movie that's already been filmed and I'm sitting here with spoilers.

You have free will. Other people have free will. Circumstances change. I can tell you what I'm getting and what direction things seem to be moving, but I'm not going to tell you that something will absolutely happen on Tuesday at 2:17 p.m. That's not how I work.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes, but please book for the number of people who will be attending the reading. Adding another person changes the price of the session, so this isn't really a "bring a friend along for moral support" situation.

If you'd like to share the experience with someone, absolutely! Just choose the appropriate reading when you book so I know how many are coming and we have enough time for everyone.

And remember, readings can get personal. Make sure whoever you bring is someone you're comfortable ugly crying in front of. Just in case. 😂

Can I record my reading?

Yes! Readings can contain a lot of information, and it's incredibly easy to forget pieces afterward. Sometimes something that makes absolutely no sense during the reading makes perfect sense three days later.

What if i'm skeptical?

You're welcome here.

You don't have to believe everything I believe - or even know what you believe. Healthy skepticism doesn't offend me. Come curious. Listen. Ask questions. Decide for yourself what resonates and what doesn't.

What I don't need is someone coming solely to prove something. Neither of us is going to enjoy that hour, and we both have better shit to do.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. If I don't feel I'm making a genuine connection during your reading, I'll tell you. I'm not going to stretch vague information, fish for answers, or pretend something is coming through when it isn't.

Sometimes a connection simply doesn't happen, and I'd rather be honest about that than take your money for a reading I don't believe I'm actually giving you.

If that happens, I'll end the reading and refund your money. No hard feelings, no awkwardness.

I take what I do seriously, even when I don't take myself too seriously. Your trust matters to me, and I'm never going to manufacture a connection just to finish an appointment.

What happens if i'm late?

Life happens. I get it. If you're running a few minutes late, please let me know. Your reading will still need to end at the originally scheduled time so I don't make the next person wait. Twenty minutes late unfortunately doesn't turn your 60-minute reading into a 60-minute reading that starts twenty minutes later. That's how we accidentally ruin everybody's day. 😂

Do you offer readings virtually?

Yes. You don't need to be sitting across from me for me to do what I do. I offer zoom or phone appointment options as well. And no, Spirit apparently has not been defeated by Wi-Fi.

Are virtual readings as effective as in-person readings?

In my experience, yes. The way I receive information doesn't depend on you physically being in the same room with me.

Some people prefer in-person readings because they enjoy that experience. Others are much more comfortable sitting on their own couch in pajama pants. Both are perfectly acceptable life choices.

How soon after someone dies can i book a reading?

There isn't a waiting period.

Grief is incredibly personal, and I don't believe it's my place to decide when someone else is "ready" for a reading. I've read for people within days of a loss, and I've read for people years later. Neither choice is more right than the other.

Grief can sometimes make it harder to recognize signs and connections that might otherwise feel obvious. For some people, a reading can also be a meaningful part of their grieving process.

You know your grief better than I do. If you feel ready, that's your decision to make.

I'm not here to decide when the timing is right. I'm just the vessel.

Can you communicate with pets?

Yes. Animals absolutely can come through during my readings.

Sometimes I'll get a sense of their size or what they looked like. I've also been able to feel the connection they had with their person, and honestly, that can be incredibly powerful.

The first time I experienced that connection, it caught me completely off guard. I could feel how much this animal loved their person, and I cried. It was beautiful.

Animals aren't “just pets.” They're family. Their relationships with us can be every bit as meaningful, complicated, funny, and full of love as our relationships with people.

I'm also a huge animal lover myself, so when they show up, they're always welcome.

And apparently this is where I'm supposed to disclose that dogs are my favorite animal and llamas are second. Does that have anything to do with your reading? Absolutely not.

But now you know. 😂

Do you read about health, legal or financial matters?

If something comes through during a reading, I'm going to tell you what I'm receiving. That includes information that I perceive as being related to someone's health. I'm not going to leave something out simply because it falls into a particular category.

That said, I'm a psychic medium, not your doctor, attorney, or financial advisor. If I receive something about your health, I'll share it with you, but I won't diagnose you or tell you to ignore medical advice. I may tell you, "This is what I'm getting, and I think it's worth talking to your doctor about."

The same goes for legal and financial information. I'll tell you what comes through, but what you choose to do with that information is ultimately yours.

I give you the message. I don't make your decisions for you.

Do I need to tell you anything before my reading?

Actually, the less I know, the better.

You don't need to give me someone's life story, explain who you're hoping to connect with, or hand me a detailed family history before we begin. Let me do my job.

As things come through, I may ask questions or need you to help me understand where something fits, but I don't want you feeding me information just to make the pieces work.

If I get it, I get it. If I don't, I don't. I'd much rather be honest about that than have you wondering afterward whether I knew something because you told me.

What if something you tell me doesn't make sense?

Don't force it.

Seriously. One of my least favorite things is watching someone desperately try to make information fit because they thing they're supposed o.

Sometimes something makes perfect sense immediately. Sometimes it clicks later when you talk to another family member or suddenly remember something you'd completely forgotten. And sometimes? It may never make sense.

That's okay.

I'll tell you what I'm receiving as clearly as I can. You don't have to turn yourself into a detective during your reading trying to make every single detail fit.

Will you tell me something i don't want to hear?

I won't intentionally scare you, and I'm not interested in delivering dramatic doom-and-gloom predictions. That's not what I do. But I'm also not going to tell you what I think you want to hear just because it would be easier.

Sometimes what comes through is emotional. Sometimes it's funny. Sometimes it's incredibly validating. And sometimes it may not be the answer you were hoping for.  My responsibility is to be honest about what I'm receiving and compassionate about how I deliver it. I'm not here to blow smoke up your ass. I'm also not here to traumatize you. There's plenty of room between the two. 😂
