what to expect

Come as you are. You don't need to impress me, convince me, believe exactly what I believe, or know how any of this works. That's my department. You just have to show up.

Before Your Reading

Don't research how to "prepare correctly." Don't rehearse questions or give me everybody's biography. Show up as you are. Nervous is fine. Skeptical is fine. Excited is fine.

When We Get Started

I don't have a rehearsed speech or script that I give before every reading. What I say and how we begin can be different every time. I'm a person, not a prerecorded psychic disclaimer.

I will usually ask if you've ever had a reading with a medium before. Not because there's a right answer, but because every medium works differently. If you've had a reading before, I don't want you coming in expecting me to work exactly like the last person you saw. And if this is your first time, that's completely fine too.

I'll explain things as we go and you're always welcome to ask questions. You don't need to know the "rules" of mediumship before you sit down with me. There really aren't any. Just show up. I'll take it from there.

During Your Reading

Messages may be specific, weird, funny, emotional, seemingly random. Don't force information to fit. You can say no. You can cry (I have kleenex). You can laugh. You don't have to react a certain way or make every message mean something. Just be yourself.

After Your Reading

Give yourself a little time to process everything. A reading can be overwhelming in the best possible way. There's a lot coming at you at once, and your brain isn't going to neatly file every message away before you walk out the door or disconnect from the meeting. If you recorded your session, listen to it again later. Seriously. You may be surprised by what you completely forgot was said.

Something that made no sense during your reading may suddenly click three days later. You might be washing the dishes a week from now and think,

"OH MY GOD. THAT'S WHAT SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT."

And some things may never click. That's okay too. Don't force anything to fit just because it came through in a reading. Give yourself time to let the experience settle. You don't have to understand everything before you leave.

One Last Thing...

A reading can give you connection, validation, comfort, clarity, or a completely different way of looking at something. But remember: a reading isn't an instruction manual for your life. You still have choices. You still have free will. Take what resonates, give the rest some room, and trust yourself to decide what you do with it. It's your life. I'm just here to pass along the messages.
